2013

Below you will find a link to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics' ("FAST") 2013 Audited Financial Statement as well as a link to the FAST 2013 Federal Tax Return.

The FAST calendar year ended 2013 audited financials show total revenue of $913,798 and total expenses of $979,548. Expenses of $979,548 include research funding in the amount of $808,469 and $63,544 in other program-related expenses. Total general administrative expenses incurred by FAST in 2013 were $24,509. $1,101,489 of assets held at year-end are maintained in cash and investments, and they will be held until used for funding research towards a cure for Angelman Syndrome and advancing the goals of FAST.

2012

Below you will find a link to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics' ("FAST") 2012 AuditedFinancial Statement as well as a link to the FAST 2012 Federal Tax Return.

The FAST calendar year ended 2012 audited financials show total revenue of $955,052 and total expenses of $391,600. Expenses of $391,600 include research funding in the amount of $253,890 and $58,550 in other program-related expenses. Total general administrative expenses incurred by FAST in 2012 were $34,920, which included $17,476 of general administrative expenses and temporarily restricted funds of $17,444 for family travel expenses incurred in the Minocycline Clinical Trial. $1,167,239 of assets held at year-end are maintained in cash and investments, and they will be held until used for funding research towards a cure for Angelman Syndrome and advancing the goals of FAST.

2011

Below you will find a link to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics' ("FAST") 2011 AuditedFinancial Statement as well as a link to the FAST 2011 Federal Tax Return.

The FAST calendar year ended 2011 audited financials show total revenue of $639,525 and total expenses of $207,400. Expenses of $207,400 include research funding in the amount of $125,110 and other program-related expenses of $41,561. Total general administrative expenses incurred by FAST in 2011 were $6,621. $603,787 of assets held at year-end are maintained in cash and investments, and they will be held until used for funding research towards a cure for Angelman Syndrome and advancing the goals of FAST.

2010

Below you will find a link to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics' ("FAST") 2010 tax return. The return shows revenue of $249,218 and expenses of $78,735 which resulted in net cash received by the Foundation of $170,483 and an ending net asset value of $275,663. The $275,663 is held in cash. The $170,483 of income was from the 2010 Evening with the Stars Gala ("Gala"), New York Night for Angels benefit and the second annual Golfing for a Cure Golf Tournament as well as donations made by check and by credit card through the FAST web site. The $78,735 in expenses are made up of research funding of $37,653, fund-raising expenses of $27,503, administration expenses of $3,713 and program expenses of $9,866 related to the attendance of AS parents to the Gala. The income and expense items include restricted cash of $12,600 that was to be used solely for Gala program expenses. These funds were donated by anonymous donors. The $275,663 will be maintained in cash until used for funding research towards a cure for Angelman Syndrome and advancing the goals of the Foundation.

2009

Below you will find a link to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics' ("FAST") 2009 tax return. The return shows revenue of $111,899 and expenses of $40,406 which resulted in net cash received by the Foundation of $71,493 and an ending net asset value of $105,180. The $105,180 is held in cash. The $71,493 of income was from the 2009 Evening with the Stars Gala ("Gala"), and a golf outing as well as donations made by check and by credit card through the FAST web site. The $40,406 in expenses are made up of fund raising expenses of $24,096, administration expenses of $3,740 and program expenses of $12,570 related to the attendance of AS parents to the Gala. The income and expense items include restricted cash of $12,570 that was to be used solely for Gala program expenses. These funds were donated by anonymous donors. The $105,180 will be maintained in cash until sufficient funds are raised to enable progress towards a cure for Angelman Syndrome.

2008

Below you will find a link to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics' ("FAST") 2008 tax return. The return shows income of $65,315 and expenses of $31,628 which resulted in an ending net asset value of $33,687. The $33,687 is held in cash as outlined in Part II of the 2008 tax return. The $65,315 of income was from the 2008 Evening with the Stars Gala ("Gala") as well as donations made by check and by credit card through the FAST web site. The $31,628 expenses are made up of fund raising expenses of $28,435, administration expenses of $1,106 and insurance expense of $2,087 as shown in Part I of the 2008 tax return. The income and expense items include restricted cash of $18,625 that was to be used solely for Gala expenses. The $18,625 includes a $9,000 donation from a Corporate Donor and a $9,625 donation from an anonymous donor. The $33,687 will be maintained in cash until sufficient funds are raised to enable progress towards a cure for Angelman Syndrome.
