FAST Featured on NBC Special
Dear FAST supporter,On Saturday, December 10, 2011, 8:00PM EST, NBC will air the first ever American Giving Awards hosted by Bob Costas in a two-hour primetime special. In addition to featuring five charities selected in the Chase Community Giving project, the show will recognize Colin Farrell for his work with the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) and highlight Angelman Syndrome with footage filmed during FAST's "Evening with the Stars" charity gala held on December 3, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois.
FAST is thrilled for this opportunity to promote awareness of Angelman Syndrome on a national level. Awareness helps us all in two very important ways. First, it leads to more individuals with Angelman Syndrome obtaining an accurate diagnosis. Additionally, awareness leads to funding, which is the key for finding treatments and therapeutics for our loved ones affected by this condition.
