For Grant Awardees

Progress reports

Progress reports are due on the schedule outlined in the signed award agreement. Please use the following template to generate your progress report. Reports should be sent to grants@cureangelman.org. Final progress reports are due within 60 days of project termination and should include a detailed account of how the awarded funds were used.

Lay summaries

The lay summary, or portion of the lay summary, from funded may be reproduced on our website, in our newsletter, or in publicity releases. We are committed to communicating with our donors and members about the research we fund and what it could mean for finding a therapeutic for Angelman Syndrome. If you would like to revise your lay summary, please contact us at grants@cureangelman.org.

Acknowledgements

Funding from FAST should be acknowledged in all publications, abstracts, and distributed work. Please acknowledge funding as follows: "The work was supported in part by the John Smith Grant in Aid from the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics," or "The work was supported in part by the John Smith Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics." In addition, any publication in the peer reviewed literature supported in whole or part by the Foundation must be reported to the Foundation.

Indirect costs

At this time, the Foundation does not allow indirect costs on awards under any circumstances.

No Cost Extensions or Changes to the Budget

Any changes to the budget or to the length of the award must be requested in writing. No cost extensions must be requested at least 30 days before termination of the award. Requests will be evaluated and presented to the Board of Directors for their approval. Please send requests to grants@cureangelman.org
